Welcome,

At RingUnion, LLC., we are more than an Officiant and Wedding Day Coordination Service we are a family committed to the needs of the bride and groom; truly focused on making your wedding shine with the magic of your love for one another. With that said, I wanted to describe what my service, as an Officiant, would entail.

My first goal is to get to know the bride and groom; to get an idea of what they want from their service and me. To achieve this I invite everyone to my office or a neutral environment for a free consultation to go over your specific wedding needs and so I can give you a personalized quote. If time or distance does not permit this, in today’s age of all the communication devices afforded us, we can just as easily get to know one another via phone, email, Instant Messenger, etc.

The second step would to fill out the proper paper work and a deposit would be required to book your date. The paper work is essential for records; it consists of a basic contract of services and a simple form of who, when, where, and special requests. Upon receipt of the deposit and paper work, you will receive two packages: Ceremony Package, and Ceremonies from the Heart. I will also send other relating material to aid with your wedding plans.

The Ceremony Package has some great planning tools, description of my service, outline of a wedding ceremony, a complete ceremony (so you can see the flow of a service), several examples of ceremony openings, wedding vows, ring exchange vows, Scriptures, special services, i.e. Unity Candle, poems, and contact information. This package is a great way to organize your service and start the ceremony building process. In addition to the Ceremony Package, I will also send Ceremonies from the Heart; in this package are examples of services to build from. Now when I state build that is exactly what I will do.

After you have had a chance to go over all the options we will communicate what direction you both would like to go. You can choose a service or we can sit down and piece together a ceremony that suits the meaning of your love for one another, truly personalizing your service. After we have created a ceremony, I will be there to answer any questions you may have regarding the service and any other questions that may arise.

Also included in my services, if required, would be the rehearsal. I believe in practice makes perfect and reassuring the bride and groom that what they wanted will happen.

Then the BIG day I will arrive thirty minutes prior to your wedding time to go over any last minute changes and to offer a helping hand. After performing your ceremony, you will receive a keepsake copy of the ceremony . The keepsake is a nice addition to your wedding day treasure chest reminding you of your special day. Finally, I will sign and file your Marriage License at the appropriate Probate Court Office with in two business days of the ceremony.

With careful planning and love the ceremony will be the beginning of a wonderful journey together. I would love to be apart of that beginning and share in the happiness.

Best wishes,

Reverend Brian Cookson
