We are all just pebbles in the stream. Sometimes the current may bury us in the sand, and other times it may push us under the glory of the sun. Take the good and the bad and you will grow as you collect sand drifting down the stream. Over time you will grow into a magnificent rock that will settle in that brook. Then you, the rock, will direct the current.

Life has its mysterious way of directing us to where we need to be in this world. It is up to you to listen, learn, grow, and then to lead.

What is the scoop on getting your Marriage License in Georgia?

In the State of Georgia, you acquire your Marriage License at the County Probate Court office. Both the bride and groom must go together. Bring two forms of Identification. There is not a waiting period. If you are not a resident of Georgia, you must obtain the License from the County you are getting married in. Expect a fee of $35.00 to $100.00 depending on the county. A blood test is not required. If you are divorced, some counties require a copy of the Divorce Decree or the date and county of the divorce.

Enjoy the Moment

As wedding professionals, Amanda and I have seen just about everything when it comes to the wonderful experience of preparing for that special day! Now I say SPECIAL day and that is exactly what it should be. Often with all the preparations and general anxieties that accompany getting married sometimes, it is easy to forget why you are doing this and to simply have fun. I tell all the couples “This is a once in a life time experience! They are in love and this is a celebration of that love. Everything that they are going through should be cherished. Allow their friends and family members to help and let the vendors, which they have selected, to do their jobs! They need to focus on the wonders of this process and their future together. Simply, enjoy the moment!”
That is easier said than done, especially when prices can sometimes smother the bride and groom's experience. All too often, I have seen the enormous pressure the costs of a wedding places on an individual. Well, I have been apart of very costly weddings that were gorgeous in every fashion of the word and I have Officiated very intimate and inexpensive weddings that were all that and more. The one thing that I do know is it is simply up to you! Being happy with what you have to work with is more than half the battle. The other half is showing up smiling and truly enjoying the experience. I wish everyone the very best and please remember to ENJOY the MOMENT!

I wish you well,
